So which country do you want to live in?
We decided on Spain. But…
New Zealand
When we were traveling through New Zealand we decided that this was for sure a country we wanted to live in, migrate to.
Only one real issue keeps us from going. It's on the other side of the planet, and that's a long way of. It's 18106.34 km's.
Besides that.., it is kinda hard to get in. And the weather is a lot like our own Dutch weather. Wet and unpredictable.
I like the seasons, but knowing that tomorrow is going to be sunny is a nice thing.
But, New Zealand would ever been the only other country we'd ever wanted to live… it is beautiful.
Spain
Spain lies within the EU. That makes it really easy for us to move there. In fact, there's nothing that can stop us. We can live and work there tomorrow, it we would choose to do so. And, it's only 1487.65 km's.
This means we can stay close to our friends and family, which is, after all, important enough.
Besides, the weather is sweet over there.
Belgium
But.., and this is an edit.., as time goes on, opinions, ideas and plans change.., this is inevitable.
While browsing it turned out that one can buy a piece of land in Belgium for the same price as in Spain.., hmmm.., interesting. It is a lot closer to home, greener, more water. It's just in the French speaking half of the country, so we have to learn French instead of Spanish, big deal…
Undecided
So, as of the moment of writing it is yet undecided where we'll live, but Belgium is where my money's at.
